A graduate of Box Hill Institute with a Bachelor of Applied Music, David is skilled in performing a wide range of music styles and has over 10 years experience as a music educator. David teaches students ranging in age from 5 to 70, and has conducted lessons in a variety of formats, including individual and group lessons in primary schools, high schools and student’s homes.
David provides personalised tuition that best suits the interests and aspirations of individual learners, along with comprehensive training in instrumental technique and music theory.
Preparation for VCE guitar exams is available.

David offers private music lessons at schools and student’s own homes on weekdays. Lessons run throughout school terms and are available during school holidays upon request.
Tuition is available for beginner to advanced guitarists, and for beginner to intermediate bass and ukulele players. Suitable for ages 5 and up.
Lessons are 30 or 60 minutes in duration, and are provided at the same time each week.
A four-week trial is available for new students who do not wish to commit to a full term of lessons. Please see the Services section for fee information and other details.
David mainly travels to the following areas:
Gembrook, Cockatoo, Emerald, Belgrave, Upwey, Kallista, The Patch, Sassafras, Olinda, Monbulk, Macclesfield, and Silvan. Lessons may be provided in other areas within and surrounding the Dandenong Ranges upon request.

The online enrolment form must be filled in and submitted. Once your enrolment form has been processed, you will receive an email containing your invoice and the details of your lesson placement.
Students must have their own instrument. Students are encouraged to bring tuners, picks, leads, books, and any other items that may be of use during the lesson.
Direct deposit, credit card and cash payments are accepted.
Internet banking details will be included on your invoice. Please use the Invoice No. as a reference for your direct deposit.
Cash payments will only be accepted if paid in person directly to David Simpson. If the payment is made in cash, the exact amount must be paid. Unfortunately, no change can be provided.
